Airport Security Officer - Bike Rover

About This Role

Safeguard the airport, staff, and facilities by conducting routine patrols, delivering excellent customer service, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the airport, staff, and facilities
• Drive, patrol, check, and secure doors
• Conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff
• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and government facility policies
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and credentials
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or airport operations personnel
• Complete required reports and logs, document security-related incidents, and communicate observed conditions and/or concerns

Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Ability to ride a bike

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years with a valid driver's license
