This role involves assisting residents with daily care activities and medication administration as an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA), making a direct impact on their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with medications for all assigned residents
- Assist with daily care of residents, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed
- Document completed tasks such as daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements
- Communicate confidentially and clearly to other staff, including urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
- Manage assigned tasks efficiently within the scheduled shift
Requirements
- Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) certification, as required by state regulations
