About This Role

Serve as a critical member of the Patient Care Services team, delivering comprehensive nursing care and coordinating admission processes for patients from the Emergency Department or community, collaborating with ED staff, Nursing Supervisors, and inpatient teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with inpatient providers, primary nurses, other disciplines, and inpatient floors to coordinate the admission process and provide comprehensive patient care
  • Ensure efficient admission process for patients originating in the ED or from the community
  • Deliver nursing care utilizing a patient-centered approach incorporating the Professional Practice Model

Requirements

  • Graduate with an Associate’s degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with a NH License or compact state license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care Clinical areas
  • Understanding of patient transport – unit to unit and admission protocols
  • Clinical experience in Cardiac Telemetry

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Acute Care Clinical areas

Nice to Have

  • BSN degree
  • Previous Admission Nurse experience
