Oversee key financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting processes for a dynamic environment within the financial services industry. This role also involves managing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards through effective auditing practices
• Utilize accounting software systems such as BlackLine, Concur, and ERP tools to streamline workflows
• Supervise billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
• Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting systems for improved efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records
• Develop and maintain financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Train and mentor staff to enhance overall accounting team performance

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting management within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including BlackLine, Concur, and ERP tools
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes
• Familiarity with auditing practices and financial compliance standards
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
