The Accounting Assistant will ensure accuracy in spreadsheets, issue invoices, review and file payroll documents, and manage cash receipts. This part-time role supports financial operations, focusing on driver commissions and customer billing.
Responsibilities
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners
- Review and file payroll documents
- Perform accurate data entry of driver commission details from QuickBooks into Excel spreadsheets
- Calculate weekly driver commissions for approximately 100 drivers and cut their checks
- Manage the cash receipts process, ensuring timely and accurate recording
- Assist with billing activities for repeat customers
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel
- Organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with Excel Spreadsheets
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
