Join the Accounting Advisory Services team to partner with customers, providing outsourced accounting and CFO-level services through rigorous financial and operational data analysis. Drive customer engagements, coordinating communications, delivering valuable insights, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Analyze general ledger accounts for errors, discrepancies, accruals, and deferrals to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends for valuable management reporting
- Communicate analysis that generates results outside of customers' expectations
- Evaluate expense allocation across departments to improve accuracy
- Prepare various ad hoc and monthly recurring reports and analyses for management
- Prepare, analyze, and/or review monthly account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customers to build trust and relationships
- Optimize workflows and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor associates and interns to foster growth and development
- Engage with businesses across various industries to strategize and achieve goals
- Collaborate with Tax, Audit, and Consulting teams to deliver comprehensive customer service
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 4+ years of accounting advisory experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately with significant attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under deadline pressure
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- QuickBooks experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 4+ years of accounting advisory experience
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of audit experience
- Experience within Sage Intacct
- CPA or CMA certification or progress toward certification
