As a Workday System Analyst, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Financial Management and Professional Services Automation (PSA), supporting system optimization, automation, and reliable day-to-day operations. This role involves partnering closely with Finance and Firm Service Line Groups to drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Workday subject matter expert for day-to-day operations and project initiatives within Workday Financial Management and PSA, including configuration, integrations, EIBs, testing, and issue resolution.
- Act as the first point of contact for Workday Finance and PSA related issues, proactively monitoring and maintaining the production environment.
- Configure and maintain Workday solutions across Finance, PSA, and Time Tracking, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Lead the testing and evaluation of new Workday features and functionality, including unit, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and contribute to semi-annual Workday release planning.
- Build and maintain advanced Workday Financial reports (Matrix and Composite) to deliver actionable insights.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Finance and PSA business processes, custom objects, and condition rules, ensuring security compliance.
- Monitor, triage, and resolve Workday financial-related support tickets in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience supporting Workday financials & PSA
- Strong proficiency with Workday reporting tools (Report Writer, Composite Reports, Dashboards, Worksheets)
- Strong understanding of business process design, system configuration, and implementation best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience supporting Workday financials & PSA, including configuration and administration.
Nice to Have
- Experience working within a shared Workday HCM environment
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
