About This Role

This Account Specialist role provides essential support for National Accounts, focusing on sales, implementation, and maintenance. The role involves coordinating reporting, issue resolution, and system access while maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and distribute standard reports on utilization, clinical data, high dollar forecasts/notifications, billing, and purchased products to external parties.
  • Facilitate ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
  • Coordinate dotR (tracking channel for report/access requests) for routine issues including benefits, claims, membership, billing, reporting, and stop loss.
  • Coordinate with appropriate internal resources (SME or Account Advocate) as directed by Account Executive or Client Relationship Manager for issue resolution.
  • Coordinate system access (MHTK, Blue e-Bill, Blue DataConnect, etc.) for groups, brokers, and Partner Plan Representatives.
  • Facilitate copies of member ID cards as needed.
  • Provide departmental support as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4 years job related work experience OR Associate's degree and 2 years job related work experience
  • 2 years experience in marketing, sales, account management, or health benefits operations
  • Good judgment skills
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in attention to details, spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
  • 2 years experience in marketing, sales, account management, or health benefits operations, or equivalent combination of Associate's degree and 2 years experience, or 4 years job related work experience without a degree.

  • Understanding of internal departmental functions and their impact on National Accounts
