This role is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling finished products according to customer specifications, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Complete work area setup
- Fit parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards
- Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
- Stack completed products in accordance with established procedures
- Cover, label, and band components or finished product if required
- Ensure work area is safe, clean, and organized, and equipment is safe to operate
- Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and report any problems or concerns
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Maintain production records as required
- Check materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards
- Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
- Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
- No minimum experience is required, however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
Nice to Have
- 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience
- Working knowledge of basic math
