2nd Shift Assembly

About This Role

This role is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling finished products according to customer specifications, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Complete work area setup
• Fit parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards
• Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
• Stack completed products in accordance with established procedures
• Cover, label, and band components or finished product if required
• Ensure work area is safe, clean, and organized, and equipment is safe to operate
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and report any problems or concerns
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintain production records as required
• Check materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards
• Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
• No minimum experience is required, however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred

Nice to Have

• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience
• Working knowledge of basic math
