About This Role

Join a team to assemble large motors and generators, ensuring safety and quality in a manufacturing environment. Perform complex assembly processes using various tools and review work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Insert, connect, test, coil wind, and insulation cut power equipment
• Perform complex assembly processes using various hand and small power tools
• Review work instructions, basic prints, and set up instructions for work processes
• Verify part numbers on parts and materials to be used in assembly process
• Set up work stations for staging material kits and basic machine settings
• Check work for defects, including visual inspection and use of various measuring equipment
• Notify Team lead person of any deviations in product quality from prior operations or current assembly
• Accurately and fully complete all necessary documentation and paperwork for parts/processes completed

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend established procedures for safety, quality and general assembly
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition

Nice to Have

• Proven experience as an assembler in a general manufacturing setting
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
