The Youth Worker at Childplace Inc. supports the development and well-being of youth through mentoring, daily supervision, and engagement in planned activities, while maintaining a structured, safe, and supportive environment. This role involves building positive relationships, assisting youth with life skills, and collaborating with team members to implement individual treatment plans.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some coursework or degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields is preferred
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a professional or mentoring capacity is beneficial.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge and experience in Youth Work, Youth Services, and Youth Mentoring
- Background in Social Work and/or experience in working with at-risk children
- Strong Communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide consistent guidance
- Some coursework or degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a professional or mentoring capacity
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle challenges with compassion and professionalism
