Wellness Coordinator/Volunteer Coordinator

About This Role

This role is responsible for enhancing the social and therapeutic well-being of residents by planning and implementing activities, wellness interventions, and leisure programs. It involves engaging with community groups to ensure diverse and enriching experiences for residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete the wellness portion of the assessment process
• Provide relevant daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned to operate
• Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements
• Meet federal regulations 483.15(f)(2) if leading the program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• In good standing on the State Nursing Assistant Registry
• BLS Certification
• First Aid certification
• Experience in long term care
