Water Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution, and wastewater collection systems
• Perform calculations, write specifications, and analyze reports for projects
• Apply expertise in evaluating, selecting, and modifying standard engineering techniques
• Coordinate inspections, review and respond to shop drawings
• Manage startup, commissioning, and acceptance activities for projects
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project development
• Conduct design development sessions
• Collaborate on contract documents

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing water/wastewater and municipal projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant civil engineering software
• Strong project engineering and project management experience
• Excellent leadership, communication, and technical writing skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing water/wastewater and municipal projects
