Warehouse Worker

About This Role

Manage warehouse operations for a luxury residential technology provider, ensuring efficient material handling from receiving to delivery and shipment returns, while maintaining inventory accuracy and an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship, deliver)
• Work closely with project management, service and install techs to fulfill material needs
• Receive and process warehouse products (pick, unload, label, store) into warehouse timely
• Enter receipts into accounting software within 24 hours
• Report any discrepancies between packing slip and count of items received
• Work closely with Purchasing and Accounts Payable, resolving discrepancies/questions timely
• Receive office supplies and stock throughout building
• Schedule and deliver inventory items as required, including pickup up items at local vendors and disposing of items
• Prepare product for shipment returns to vendor
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep an organized, clean, safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Maintain a warehouse layout diagram
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Service internal and external clients with a standard of excellence

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
• Proficiency in inventory software and/or computer programs
• High level of data entry accuracy
• Basic math/counting skills
• Legible handwriting
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects (approximately 40 lbs)
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Clean driver’s license record

• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
