Warehouse Material Handler

About This Role

This Material Handler role at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions involves performing various warehouse functions and operating state-of-the-art equipment to support distribution across the US, ensuring safe and efficient handling of furniture products.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Manage day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
