Warehouse Forklift Operator

About This Role

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to manage inbound products and perform various warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, ensuring efficient distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Handle inbound products including bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors
• Perform accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and a personal vehicle
• Ability to travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day
• Strong technical aptitude including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to use scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work both indoors and outside

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
