Warehouse Clerk

About This Role

This role involves performing warehouse clerical duties such as coordinating activities, updating metrics, generating reports, and maintaining filing systems for a supply chain and logistics company. The position is full-time, third shift, with an emphasis on safety and state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, customers, and/or suppliers
• Update area or shift metrics using the location's WMS system
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries
• Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain filing systems and documents
• Gather and provide information to floor employees in the area of support
• Coordinate activities, meetings, and communication for the specific area or shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates customer service skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) experience
