Warehouse Clerk 1st Shift

About This Role

Join Ryder Supply Chain Solutions as a permanent, full-time 1st Shift Warehouse Clerk responsible for coordinating activities, updating metrics, generating reports, and performing administrative tasks in a distribution environment handling appliances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer, and/or other suppliers as needed
• Update area or shift metrics using the location's WMS system
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries
• Perform basic administrative tasks for area or shift, maintaining filing systems and documents
• Gather from and provide information to floor employees in area of support
• Coordinate activities, meetings, and communication for the specific area or shift
• Perform floor work and additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates customer service skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred. One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred. One (1) year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred.
