Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator

About This Role

This role involves filling customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck, moving products efficiently and safely, and utilizing an RF scanner gun to manage inventory. The associate will also assist with receiving, inventory, and returns departments, and assemble component parts using various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck
• Operate equipment to move product in an efficient and safe manner
• Use an RF scanner gun to determine proper products for orders
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyor belts
• Assist Receiving Department with unloading new arrival merchandise from trucks
• Assist inventory and returns department with day to day operation
• Assemble component parts to build various types of lockers and cabinets
• Utilize various manual, air and electrical hand tools in an efficient and safe manner

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment
• Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment
• Previous experience utilizing an RF Scanner
• Proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings
• Able to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs continuously
• Able to stand, walk, pull and bend 100% of the day

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment and with material handling equipment
