The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, maintaining accurate inventory records, and accurately filling customer orders for MC Machinery Systems.
Responsibilities
- Receive, process, label and store incoming stocks
- Maintain clear records of all inventory and stocks
- Inspect all stock for damages and keep records of damaged products
- Count stocks, keep inventory records and prepare orders for shipment
- Ensure the safe clean and efficient operation of the warehouse while adhering to all OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT and other required regulations and guidelines
- Organize the warehouse space
- Operate stock management tools such as pallet jack, RF Scanner and forklift lift when necessary
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution or related field
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of warehouse and mechanical equipment
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced warehouse environment
- Ability to become certified to operate a forklift
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and data entry skills
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution or related field
Nice to Have
- Previous experience using RF scanner or other warehouse equipment
