Warehouse Associate

About This Role

Join Ferguson as a Warehouse Associate to safely operate equipment, handle customer orders, and maintain a clean and safe facility. This role involves using technology for order management and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Clean the workspace and participate with the team in keeping the facility clean, safe, and accident free
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid state driver's license
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred
