Warehouse Associate

About This Role

This role is for a Part-time Warehouse Associate responsible for managing and maintaining branch inventory, handling product flow, and ensuring a safe work environment for an industrial distribution leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain branch inventory
• Receive, pick, package, ship, and cycle count inventory
• Make local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Current full valid driver's license, ability to meet driving record requirements
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Ability to pass required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Entry level with preference for previous experience in receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory

• Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
