Provide independent contract interpreting services as a fluent Vietnamese bilingual, helping break down language barriers in medical, educational, social, and legal settings. This role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent contract interpreting services for Vietnamese speakers
- Assist students in schools and patients in hospitals
- Serve multicultural communities by providing professional language services
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
- US I-9 work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test
- Willingness to primarily attend in-person appointments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Professional interpreter training/experience
- MMR, Varicella, Covid, and Flu vaccination records (for medical interpreting interest)
