Join PeachyBbies as a Video Editor to create high-performing YouTube Shorts and vertical content for social media, engaging over 21 million fans. This role focuses on editing dynamic, on-brand videos that spark creativity and joy.
Responsibilities
- Edit 20-60 second short-form videos for YouTube and social media
- Cut and pace footage for maximum viewer retention, visual interest, and storytelling
- Add captions, sound effects, overlays, and transitions to enhance engagement
- Follow and incorporate current trends in YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
- Collaborate with the Director of Post Production and creative team on feedback
- Maintain organized file structures, version tracking, and consistent delivery practices
- Ensure all videos align with brand identity and content standards
Requirements
- Proven experience editing content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or Instagram Reels
- Strong sense of pacing, timing, and visual rhythm
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve)
- Experience with animated text, on-screen captions, and graphic overlays
- Familiarity with social media and creator trends, especially in youth markets
- Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback and iterate
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
- Available to work in-person Monday through Friday
