About This Role

This Vice President of Accounting role oversees all accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and control for a private equity-backed healthcare organization. The position leads strategic accounting initiatives, ensures financial integrity, and integrates new acquisitions, while building a high-performing accounting team.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and control
Lead strategic accounting initiatives to support growth in a dynamic, private equity–backed healthcare organization
Partner closely with senior executives to drive scalability
Ensure financial integrity and integrate new acquisitions across a multi-site platform
Build a high-performing accounting organization

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
10-15 years of progressive accounting leadership experience
5+ years in a Controller, Senior Director, or VP-level role
Experience in private equity–backed or multi-site healthcare organizations
Strong command of GAAP
Experience with consolidation accounting
Experience with revenue recognition
Experience with healthcare financial operations
Proven success in leading audits
Experience implementing internal controls
Experience optimizing financial systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master’s in Accounting strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a Controller, Senior Director, or VP-level role.
