The Vice President of Information Technology will oversee and support the technology environment for a growing small to midsize technology-enabled CRO. This hands-on role involves system ownership, service delivery, and serving as the internal subject matter expert across core clinical and business platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the CRO’s IT function, strategy, and day-to-day execution
- Act as internal SME and super user for CTMS, CRM, and eTMF systems
- Support both internal teams and external clients as part of service delivery
- Partner directly with clients to support system use and technology-related needs
- Lead technology-related projects, implementations, and optimizations
- Manage and coordinate third-party technology vendors
- Ensure systems effectively support compliant and efficient clinical operations
Requirements
- Senior IT leadership experience within a CRO or clinical research environment
- Strong hands-on experience with CTMS, CRM, and eTMF platforms
- Proven project management capability
- Comfortable operating in a small, fast-growing organization
- Experience managing external vendors and service providers
