Vehicle Service Technician

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring ambulances are properly serviced, safe, and ready for response to maintain timely and high-quality transportation services for patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ambulances are fully stocked, safely maintained, and ready to provide transportation services
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for the crew and patients
• Manage daily vehicle inventory checks, update equipment tracking logs, and place replacement requests
• Run regular mechanical checks (oil, washer fluid, batteries) and report vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager
• Document information as required, adhering to company policies and information security standards
• Facilitate coordination between departments, crews, and other vehicle service technicians
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, VSTs, and operations team

Requirements

• State Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Driving record in compliance with company policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Nice to Have

• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
