About This Role

The Vascular Access Sales Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining ICU Medical’s Vascular Access & Blood Collection business, focusing on increasing territory level profitability and expanding the current customer base. This role involves establishing relationships with key decision makers and providing post-sales implementation support.

Responsibilities

  • Align with the Regional Sales Manager and coordinate daily activities to meet and exceed annual territory revenue objectives for Vascular Access and Blood Collection.
  • Master presentation skills and command technical knowledge of ICU Medical products and their relation to industry guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with clinicians on how industry guidelines intersect with ICU Medical product portfolios to drive better clinical outcomes.
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing products and position ICU Medical’s offerings effectively.
  • Act as the clinical expert and consultative problem-solver at the field level for clinical and supply chain contacts.
  • Know the top 50 assigned customer base in the territory, including contracts, pumps, solutions, and distribution models.
  • Conduct product trials and implementation of all ICU Medical products in the Vascular Access and Blood Collection portfolio.
  • Network with clinicians in the market through local AVA, INS, VACC, APIC, ONS, and other local chapters.
  • Communicate with Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, and Operations Teams on product performance.
  • Meet and exceed all agreed upon annual ICU Medical organizational performance objectives for the Vascular Access Sales Specialist role.
  • Work on special projects as they arise and are assigned.
  • Work occasionally during weekends/nights, when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success, preferably in medical device sales with relationships in key regional health systems, and experience in needle-free infusion therapy products and services.

  • Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory and development of existing customer relationships with Supply Chain
