The Valuations Manager will lead complex valuation engagements, oversee financial analysis and research, and mentor a team of professionals. This role focuses on delivering high-quality valuation services while contributing to the strategic growth of the firm's valuation practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and comparative market analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors to inform valuation assumptions and methodologies
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with potential clients and preparing proposals
- Manage valuation consulting engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring successful project delivery
- Mentor and train new staff in areas of expertise and responsibility
- Oversee the development and execution of complex valuation models
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of valuation reports with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist management in planning and managing engagement activity
- Supervise subordinate team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
- 4-6 years in a relevant position
- Proficient in advanced Excel modeling and common finance-related software
