As a Valuations Manager at UHY-US, you will lead and oversee complex valuation engagements for clients, guiding a team of professionals in delivering high-quality valuation services. You will leverage your expertise in financial analysis, market research, and various valuation methodologies to provide crucial insights to clients and contribute to the growth of the valuation practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and comparative market analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors to inform valuation assumptions and methodologies
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, proposals, and business development activities
- Manage valuation consulting engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients
- Mentor and train new staff in areas of expertise and responsibility
- Oversee the development and execution of complex valuation models
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of valuation reports, presentations, and documentation
- Assist management in planning and managing engagement activity and follow through to achieve results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
- 4-6 years in relevant position
- Certified Valuation Analyst, Chartered Financial Analyst, Accredited Senior Appraiser, Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, and/or Certified Public Accountant with Accredited in Business Valuation designation
- Proficient in advanced Excel modeling and common finance-related software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
- 4-6 years in a relevant position
