The Utility Worker maintains clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen, including all dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen
- Safely and efficiently operate dish washing machine
- Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing
- Remove damaged or broken dishes, utensils, and glassware from service
- Stock delivered food and non-food items
- Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes
- Deep clean kitchen and equipment
- Attend all training and in-service seminars
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or have a workers permit
- Must pass a state, federal background check and drug test
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous kitchen experience preferred.
