The Utility III operates various manufacturing equipment including winders, unwinders, belt press, and stacking equipment, performing tasks such as changing out rolls and cores, inspecting material quality, and assisting with line changeovers.
Responsibilities
- Change out rolls and cores, operate winders, unwinders, belt press, calendar, lacquer, stacking equipment.
- Responsible for personal safety and participating in plant safety process.
- Enter data into ME and SAP.
- Inspect and monitor quality of processed material.
- Activate roll transfer from AGV to machine.
- Splice new roll into existing roll per standard operating procedure.
- Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning in area.
- Operate lift truck, overhead crane, hoist, including inspections and reporting issues.
- Perform job rotation and relief of other team members.
