UT Level II Technician

About This Role

Independently perform Nondestructive Testing (NDT) inspections using various techniques to identify defects or detrimental conditions in accordance with written criteria, interpret results, and report findings to customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices
• Perform all duties as assigned and adhere to TEAM’s Core Values and Seven Critical Choices
• Assist the Sr. Technician and instruct apprentice level personnel on the job
• Study to gain NDT certifications while assisting to gain hands-on experience in various NDT methods
• Perform any duties assigned by the SR Technician on the job
• Perform supervisory activities over apprentice level personnel on the job as needed
• Maintain NDT certification
• Perform NDT inspections for which certified
• Interpret and report results of inspections, and maintain documentation of inspection activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• An understanding of basic math
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word
• Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
• Minimum 2 years experience in NDT field as a certified technician in at least 2 methods
• Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner
• Ability to follow instructions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years experience in NDT field as a certified technician in at least 2 methods
