This role will support the AmTrust Non-Profit underwriting team by providing administrative assistance. Key functions include processing quotations, binders, policies, and managing account maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Set up files for renewal accounts
- Process quotations, binders and policies
- Fulfill endorsement requests and perform ongoing account maintenance
- Coordinate and store file documentation
- Support agents by responding to general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, and commission questions
- Solicit renewals
- Extend exceptional customer service to all clients
- Produce a high volume of work while maintaining consistency and quality of work product
Requirements
- Working knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Efficient, well-organized and self-motivated
- Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Capable oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)
- Able to learn, maintain and develop strong technical skills
Qualifications
- 2+ years as an Underwriting Assistant, ideally supporting non-profit and/or professional liability lines of business
