This role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills and the ability to effectively handle emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or incidents
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative measures
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid Guard License
- Clean Driving History
- Clean Criminal Background
- First Aid/ AED/CPR Certificate
- 2-3 years security experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 2-3 years security experience; Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
- Familiarity with conflict management techniques
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation
