Unarmed Security Guard

About This Role

Perform a variety of unarmed security duties including patrolling, access control, monitoring surveillance, and reporting incidents to ensure the safety and security of premises, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor exterior and community areas on-premises
• Control access of entrances and exits for employees and visitors
• Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful activities
• Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents
• Use provided communication devices effectively
• Perform CPR or first aid when needed
• Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract
• Current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/permit
• Knowledgeable of the security industry
• Customer service driven mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or a General Education Degree (GED)
• Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an Unarmed security officer
