TS/SCI Network Administrator

About This Role

This role involves supporting network and system operations for the Air Force on a military base, focusing on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices while ensuring security clearance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and simulate network traffic to aid in problem resolution or test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments
• Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth, reporting anomalies to Government team leads
• Develop, execute, modify, or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks
• Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request for auditing/investigation purposes
• Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC) within 4 hours for all accountable item moves
• Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair

Requirements

• Active secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible)
• 5+ years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches
• Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations
