Truck Driver/CDL-A

About This Role

Drive Class A CDL trucks to deliver freight, primarily 100% touch freight with driver unload at grocery stores using a powered pallet jack, ensuring on-time deliveries and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reefer trucks with automatic transmission
• Return home weekly for 34 hour reset (not a home weekend position)
• Perform 100% touch freight with driver unload at grocery stores using powered pallet jack
• Drive Kenworth and Freigthliners
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ensure on-time deliveries
• Run freight in West Virginia (WV) and Virginia (VA)

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of Class A Tractor Trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Driver can have 3 months experience if with no more than 2 carriers and no preventable accidents (CMV) during those 3 months
• In the past 12 months: 2 or less moving violations; No DOT Preventable accidents; 2 or less preventable accidents
• In past 3 years: No more than 3 moving violations
• No more than 4 jobs in the past 12 months; no more than 6 jobs in the past 2 years; no more than 8 jobs in the past 3 years
• No safety terminations in the past 6 months and must have had 6 months of safe driving since the termination
• Must pass a Hair and Urine test
• No failed or refused drug test ever
• Must live within a 200 mile radius of Roanoke, VA

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of Class A Tractor Trailer experience in the past 3 years; or 3 months experience with no more than 2 carriers and no preventable CMV accidents during those 3 months.
