This role involves performing nursing services based on biological, physical, behavioral, psychological, and sociological sciences to provide care for the sick, injured, and infirm, while also maintaining health and safeguarding life. The Triage RN is accountable to the consumer for the quality of nursing care rendered.
Responsibilities
- Perform services requiring basic knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, psychological and sociological sciences and of nursing procedures
- Utilize standardized procedures in the observation and care of the ill, injured and infirm
- Maintain health and safeguard life and health
- Administer medication and treatments prescribed by authorized individuals
- Perform most job duties independently in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory laws
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing, from an accredited school
Nice to Have
- 1 year as an RN in an Outpatient Setting
