About This Role

The Treatment Nurse will provide exceptional, high-quality patient care at Avir at Texarkana, focusing on evidence-based treatments and monitoring patient progress. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and injections
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient care team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in patient education and counseling, promoting self-advocacy and self-care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in the state of Texas
• Strong foundation in nursing skills, including medication administration and IV therapy
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a Treatment Nurse
