About This Role

This role involves driving sales, marketing, and implementing cash management/treasury solutions for commercial, municipal, and HOA clients within Valley Bank's operating regions. By using consultative selling, analysis, and managing client relationships, the officer will contribute to deposit acquisition and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Use Consultative Selling techniques to determine suitable product sets and features for clients and prospects
  • Analyze account activity and balances to generate and present proposals, and close sales
  • Obtain required service agreements and account documentation for product sets
  • Manage the implementation process in coordination with Cash Management/Treasury Solutions Operations
  • Manage overall client satisfaction regarding Cash Management/Treasury Solutions products and services
  • Support the Retail Bank's efforts in analyzing deposit relationships for existing and prospective clients
  • Attend assigned District Sales Manager meetings on at least a monthly basis
  • Follow-up on all Sales calls with clients
  • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers, District Sales Managers, and Commercial Lenders to identify cash management/treasury solutions opportunities
  • Support the Commercial Bank's efforts in analyzing deposit relationships for existing and prospective clients
  • Attend assigned Commercial Bank Team's monthly meetings
  • Responsible for a defined number of Retail Bank Sales Districts and Commercial Bank Sales Territories
  • Create monthly sales reports reflecting pipeline activities, new product sets sold, and lost business

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to review and analyze bank statements and apply results to product sets
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for proposal generation
  • Superior sales and service abilities
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Cash Management or related sales experience

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Cash Management or related sales experience
