Travel Physical Therapist

About This Role

This is a travel Physical Therapist role responsible for assessing and treating patients requiring rehabilitation services. The role involves developing treatment plans, providing skilled therapy interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals, determined according to patient's capacity and tolerance, under the direction of a Physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients.
• Document and record the patient's condition.
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTE
• Minimum one year's experience
