Travel Physical Therapist

About This Role

Provide rehabilitation services as a travel Physical Therapist in Las Vegas, assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and educating them and their families on physical therapy methods.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services
• Provide direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals, determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance, under the physician's direction
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients
• Document and record the patient's condition
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTE
• Graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application process
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and completion of the NPTE from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
