Travel Physical Therapist

About This Role

Provide direct patient care as a Physical Therapist, assessing medical conditions and functional capabilities, and establishing treatment programs with specific goals for rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services
• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under physician's direction
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients
• Document and record the patient's condition
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient

Requirements

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of application
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with NPTE pass
• Minimum one year's experience
