Travel Physical Therapist

About This Role

Provide direct patient care as a Physical Therapist, assessing patients' medical conditions and functional capabilities to develop and administer rehabilitation treatment programs. Collaborate with other disciplines to set and achieve patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance, under the direction of a Physician
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients
• Document and record the patient's condition
• Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of application
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
