This role is for a travel nurse specializing in Operating Room procedures, working in an acute care critical access hospital. Responsibilities include circulating in the OR, managing surgical cases, and utilizing the MEDITECH EMR system, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room (OR) of an acute care, critical access hospital
- Perform general and laparoscopic cases from small to large
- Circulate in the OR for an average of five surgical cases per day, Monday through Friday
- Take call one night per week and every 7th weekend
- Use the MEDITECH EMR system
- Share call rotation among OR team members
Requirements
- Active MN RN license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Completion of MN NetStudy fingerprint background check requirements
