Travel Occupational Therapist

About This Role

Provide direct patient care as a travel Occupational Therapist, assessing medical condition, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation for patients requiring services. Establish and administer individual treatment programs to meet specific rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services
• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance
• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Passed the NBCOT exam
• Minimum one year of professional working experience
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or proactively in the process of the application process
• Current CPR certification
