About This Role

Provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while also supervising other staff.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to clinical interventions
Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge
Delegate and supervise care activities for licensed and non-licensed staff
Serve as a mentor or preceptor and promote teamwork and professional development
Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and practice governance standards

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years acute care Registered Nurse experience
Epic EHR experience required
Active Kentucky RN license at time of submission
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NIHSS certification

Qualifications

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Minimum of 2 years acute care Registered Nurse experience
