Provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while also supervising other staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout hospitalization and at discharge
- Delegate and supervise care activities for licensed and non-licensed staff
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor and promote teamwork and professional development
- Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and practice governance standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years acute care Registered Nurse experience
- Epic EHR experience required
- Active Kentucky RN license at time of submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIHSS certification
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Minimum of 2 years acute care Registered Nurse experience
