This travel nurse role involves providing pediatric intensive care in Des Moines, Iowa, for a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include caring for critically ill children in the PICU and potentially floating to the NICU and ED for patient holds.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric intensive care to patients in the PICU
- Float to the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) when needed
- Float to the ED (Emergency Department) for patient holds
Requirements
- 24 months minimum of PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care experience
- Must be willing to float to NICU when needed & may also float to ED patient holds
- PALS (AHA)
- EPIC EMR experience
