Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

About This Role

Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, managing conditions such as cardiac disease, renal and liver disease, and respiratory issues, while ensuring quality and safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to an adult patient population on the Medical Step Down Unit
• Monitor patients requiring continuous non-invasive telemetry
• Manage acute exacerbation of acute or chronic medical conditions
• Handle frequent diagnoses such as CAD, CHF, R/O MI, End Stage Renal and Liver Disease, compromised respiratory disease, Sepsis, CVA, IV Therapy and Dialysis (PD)
• Contribute to quality indicators in patient care
• Adhere to Patient Family Centered Care principles

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, PCU
• BLS-AHA certification
• ACLS-AHA certification
• CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
• IV Insertion skills
• 80 Mile Radius Rule

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, PCU
